2009 Tournament Schedule
The NPC golf season is comprised of several tournaments, which are held for the most part at the Bethpage State Park complex. All the members are encouraged to participate and most tournaments are subsidized by the Club.

Because the 2009 U.S. Open is being held at Bethpage, all the golf courses will be affected by the construction needed to host the professional tournament. As a result, the NPC Board made a decision to pare down the number of tournaments to be played by the membership.
- The Spring Scramble, a four man tournament, will kick off the golf season for the NPC and will take place at Bethpage on Sunday, May 17th on the Yellow course.
- The Club Championship, individual match play format, starting with a qualifying round on July 12th at Pine Hills Golf Course in Manorville, New York with the final matches taking place on Sunday, September 20th, crowning the best player from every flight (Championship, A, B and C), and
- The Memorial tournament, a 2 man net handicapped event will close out the golf season for the club. After its conclusion, all the members get together for the trophy presentation and celebrate with an end of season dinner. This tournament will be played on the walk up course on Sunday, October 4th.
The Board approved that all Club Championship matches for all flights be held on the Black course.
