Welcome to the official web site of the Nassau Players Club

In Memory of Denis Barry, Mark Ricciardi Jr., and Jack Burger

The 2008 Club Championshiop is underway. Quarterfinal matches must be completed by August 10. You can click to see the match play brackets for the Championship Flight, A Flight, B Flight, and C Flight.

Congratulations to our 2007 Club Champion Matt Esposito.

Our beloved Black Course is now open for the season. You can see the updated course tour here on the Nassau Players Club website, with all new photos of the course following the re-construction work for the 2002 US Open.  The new scorecard is also available.

In 2002, one of our members was profiled in Newsday. We have the May 9 profile of Patty Ellis here.

We still have the Daily News photo of Adi Sutarno here.

We have a new photo page here.

Founded in 1993, The Nassau Players Club is proud to be based at the Black Course at Bethpage State Park, the site of the 2002 and 2009 U.S Opens.

The club has a membership of up to 100 players, as limited by the NPC Constitution and By-Laws, and actively participates in the various regional governing bodies. We impose a strict Code of Conduct on our members whether playing at home or away.

Several club tournaments are organized each year for the benefit of members, and we also encourage members to play in all local, regional, state, and national tournaments for 2006.  We have, arguably, the strongest membership of any organized club, with many well-known local amateurs basing themselves at the club.

Please feel free to wander around our site and enjoy the scenery. Stay as long as you like. While here, there are some tips for optimal viewing that you may care to read, before continuing, to enhance your experience. If you'd care to share your views, we'd be happy to receive them. Just enter them in our guest book, and we'll preserve them for posterity.
