True color photographic images are used throughout the site. These images are best viewed with 16m colors (true color), the images are very acceptable with 65,535 colors (hi color), and are viewable with 256 colors, although they may appear grainy, due to dithering by the browser. Below 256 colors, no video driver can do justice to a photographic image, so we may as well apologize now for the poor quality images that you will see.
