| Viewed from behind, two features
reveal themselves more clearly, the pitch of the
green from back to front, and the fall-off at the
rear of the green. Both features combine to
make club selection the most important aspect of
the hole. It is vital not to hit the tee shot
past the pin, putts from past the flag have
severe contours to deal with, and chips from over
the back are nigh-on impossible to get close.
Definitely better to be short than long on this
hole.
