| From the green, the deep valley
in front of the green becomes more apparent.
Coupled with the sharp fall-off at the back-right
of the green, it is easy to picture the green as
something of a grass island. The upturned bowl
profile of the green serves to enhance this
feeling, and also tends to resist approach shots
that approach on the wrong path and trajectory.
The ideal shot into a left-hand pin is a soft
draw landing towards the front of the green, and
feeding back to the pin.
